    Make sure you download lots of different versions of Linux as isos. Also try isos from different countries.
  • 7
    But ISOs == pirate? Are you trying to get your landlord arrested?
  • 7
    Exactly at 60.
    60/10 equals 6.
    He said por([...]).
    por has 3 characters.
    Let us make the 6 to string by also putting a \0 at the end.
    Since we have to match the 3 characters to something, let us just do a simple calculation (also adding string concenating and removing the \0 off of each following element).
    3 times "6" equals "666". "666" is the new result.

    var sign={"result":"666"};
    var someSWAG=JSON.parse(sign.result);
    console.log(`Linux is a member of the Illuminati. Handshake: ${someSWAG}`);

    50 mbps up and down?
  • 2
    Wait... You used to have 500kbps? What year is this 🤣
    Where I live 40 Mbps is the bog standard connection, I'm on 40mbps and it feels slow, I'd fancy something more like 150mbps or more 😄
  • 3
    i have 300 down 30 up, but i get like 370 usually.
  • 3
    You only had 500 kbps? In 2018? That's rough, man! My first connection was 56 kbps, but that was back in 1999. Downloading por...ts of call took ages, and added substantial amounts to my phone bill.

    @billgates Torrenting isn't illegal. Torrenting copyrighted material is illegal. Linux iso's are open source and thus legal to torrent!

    Next to that I'm on vpn full-time :)

    @linuxxx how many linux isos will u be downloading?
    With internet speeds u will have now, I can only imagine u need 1 weekend to finish downloading all Linux ISOs....

    And now I'm sad... 1Mbps down and 500Kbps up... Bits, not bytes
  • 3
    @linuxxx thanks, don't know how you keep track on everyone. Thought I could lurk around in the shadows... Not much to rant about since I just moved to Germany and a nice new job... That move got me from 12/1Mbps to 200/12Mbps...

    I used to have access to 160mb/s fibre. Now I’m back in the sticks and I’m lucky if I manage 3. Sadtimes.

    Last night I had no connection at all - on the ADSL modem. Fortunately there was no problem with the 4G so I could use my mobile phone as access point. It was actually notably faster than my "landline". No wonder, 300 Mbps! I've always thought mobile internet was slow and unstable, but was proven wrong :)
