    Idk why Richard made such a huge deal about being CEO. Yea you give up some of your executive power, but shit, that's less stressful. I'd much rather be able to focus solely on coding and product development.

    I would've left the company if I was Richard anyway.. @jhh2450

    being fired before you become CEO of your own company

    Being put in jail for being a Peta file for child porn on a computer you don't own. That would be worse.

    It's worse to be fired as the CEO and then appointed as the CTO.

    They don’t tell you and hire a replacement, that’s likely even worst

    Founder CEOs getting fired is actually quite common in the startup world, one advise I always give to growing startup CEOs is that they should be ready to hand over the role to someone with experience in a bigger business
    Grinding, doing almost every tasks yourself and growing a 2 persons business is quite different from running a company with 100+ employees and different departments / organizational structure

    I feel that the best startup founders know when to give the job to someone else, it’s simply amazing to grow a business from 0 to a level where you need someone else as CEO.
    Many founder CEO often switch to board member and run a side of the business that is closer to their skill set and startup mindset like products department

    Not founding the company at first place and dying with guilt of not taking the risk.

    I can think of a few things, like shitting on everyone that helped you to build your company and get millions of investment, and being a total cunt of a CEO? Getting sacked is actually the best part.

    Investing your life savings in bitconnect? (No, I didn't do that)
  • 2
    @gitpull yeah, once you have investors you can be voted out of your own company.

    @nblackburn wtf.
    But how?
    How is the company structured that it even investors have such rights to vote?

    @Floydian pretty much what you said, thanks for having my back there.
