@BindView you are a gifted child. You really are. I have fear of exclusion. I really do.

Linux is great and has a multitude of uses. I cringe, however, when people talking about replacing Windows 10 with Ubuntu as their main desktop OS. I feel the same about MacOS....it's junk.

Sorry, on what? Apple's computer OS. Yes, it's stuck in the 90s and most of the developers have been relocated to other projects. My conspiracy theory is that Apple is going all ARM with their own chips and one unified OS on all hardware in the very near future. Have you used MacOS lately, it's awfully dated and lets not even talk about the comically embarrassing security issues. It's dead. You heard it here 1st. If you don't like Windows, use Ubuntu, I feel that it is superior and its recent development certainly on the right track. @d3vnu11

I really should dink around with some other distros. My 7 Raspberry Pis all run Raspian (which is cutesy and cool) and I have a Ubuntu VM running on my MacBook (that is running Win10) which I think has come a long way. Cheers. @d3vnu11

What have I done hahah Fine, I kinda like all desktop OS, including Windows. But I hate all mobile OS. But carry on. Ignore me. Hahah

@StazC slows me down tremendously. If i install windows10, i have to download java, eclipse, firefox and vscode and im ready to go, every shortcut and keycombo is right there. On linux all that shit varies with the distro and takes fucking hours to set up.

Finally some good reasoning. I'm going to have a nap after waking up at 1pm just about 5 minutes ago. @Floydian

Exactly, sir. Win 10 install takes minutes. Throw VS Code, Office365, FF, LastPass.... sync my shit with OneDrive and FF and I'm done. It's cool that we live in a world where if your machine breaks down or gets stolen you can grab a new computer and be back in action with all your data and settings within an hour or less. Love it. @BindView
