devRant, sure. It's better to communicate with people you don't know so you can say whatever floats your boat and the main subjects are smth mostly you're interested in than some network like facebook where sharing your opinion ends to losing friends and talking about subjects you don't care about.

Not really, there's so much wrong with it. So fake, so illusionary

Almost nothing you see online is actually real. It's people living a live they can't afford to pretend to be something they aren't. And it influences your behaviour

All of it is just bad

@12bitfloat I hate state of society. I have the feeling whatever opinion you post one friend will leave these days. We had a guy in the street, he had a dark skin, repaired phones and everyone including himself called him the "phone n*gger". It was a happy, fun, bit crazy guy. I said to a good friend that my phone got repaired by the phone n*gger for cheap. Friend hung up, never hurt from again. That's how fragile it is these days. I have more examples. Straight up cancel, without even mentioning or what. But the phone n*gger girl was a very old good friend I know since I was 14. Hurts.

Now i read my comment above again. My point: if you can say whatever you want, you don't want enough and live in a lot of boundaries. I absolutely can't say what I want. Only anonymous. Is the shit what I say so bad? I don't freaking think so. It's just the cancel culture these days. That dark skinned guy (we don't call black people black in the Netherlands, because almost no one is actually black) was actually a kind of friend of mine called himself the 'phone n*gger' ffs. I did not invent that name. I don't think anyone even knows his real name. Sigh.

    Still frustrated about it.
