Just trying to play CS :(

I’ve literally been on Windows for about 20 minutes in total and this is the 5th or something update message I’ve seen (and I’ve had to sit through an hour-long windows update.) I hate windows

I miss XP

For school we have to use Windows, because we have a semester on C#.. I'm a Gnu/Linux user and stepped away from Windows for a very good reason: FUCKING UPDATES. Now we have to use Windows and I got that same popup two days in a row😤😞😣

They are doing the work behind the scenes, you can play until the updates are being downloaded. That is how the normal windows works, dont know about this micro-apple hybrid here.

@zacg you could just turn off the windows update service in the control panel administrative tools, i did it right after i installed Windows 10 on my laptop

Normally I wouldn't read a(nother) rant on how updates on Windows are evil and always in the way, but when it's updating Windows on a Mac with an "open source" sticker quite prominently placed I can't help but thinking you might just suffer from "I don't have a clue how this works, so everything it does is meant to harm and upset me" ;)

@Flygger not sure how the open source sticker gives you that impression

@Jappe I do also like to live with vulnerabilities. And you do Update your Linux too right? I literally never had any problem with windows updates. Tho pacman is fucking me over quite often

Turns out it’s not a security update, but rather ransomware encrypting the drive.

@Jop- when I play it on Mac, I get this weird glitch where, when I click, it doesn’t let me move my mouse for several frames, which makes it really hard to use pistols especially

@zacg Why would you download Windoozle from a 3rd party site, when you can download the latest ISO from Mircosoft for free and without registering?
(You'll still need a license)
