Eh, the patriarchs forced me into the fucking Asfaimas Tournament. Again. I'd rather nuke that bone-golem contstructing son of a bitch Azbegurath with a twice-sanctified soul-ember firestorm, but we're forbidden from doing any such shit ever since my predecessor accidentally genocided half the planet with a miscalculated meteor strike; this is how we have to settle scores amongst elder magi now, by sending our most clueless disciples into the arena.

It's safe in terms of preventing calamitous mass-destruction at a biblical scale, and lame in every other respect. But we don't have enough souls in all of our wells combined to restore this damn plane a second time, so much as I hate it, it's still best we prevent arcane cataclysms for a few centuries.

I have an insatiable craving for raw egg yolks

Russians do new year wishes. I've been sick the past 2 Christmases. one I spent calling 911 5 times. and I don't remember the Christmas after that. I'm not used to being normal. no clue what to wish for

I went to the store to buy a beer but they didn't have my Irish one so I bought an Italian one. hope it doesn't taste bad. just feels weird meeting the new year sober

pretty happy for once though. things are looking up

I need more recipes for raw egg yolks though. gonna buy organic flour and maybe see if I could make pastries for myself. Russian Christmas is actually jan 16th or something so just having an extended month vacation. my sickness disallows me from eating sugar or bread but maybe I can eat organic flour and titrate sugar somehow
