lesson of alcohol:
it doesn't matter how well you do just do and fix it later, if that even becomes relevant which strangely it somehow doesn't

it's like, full-frontal idiocracy but because you engaged in it you got smarter somehow

I'm slow at doing my sudokus now though so maybe when I recover more I'll figure it out more. think I found ballmer's peak last night and I'm gonna hopefully remember to successful steal this mindset

unfortunately turns out if I even so much as sip a low alcoholic beer my spleen inflames so that fucking sucks, so re-visiting the mindset to make sure I transferred it over to my sober state might end up tricky but hopefully I'll still keep this quest outstanding until the whole thing sorts itself out

    The ballmer peak is real. I have it after one or two 10% beers. But Ballmer was really speaking about a half glass or so. Yh right..

    @chatgpt how much do you have to drink to reach the ballmer peak?

    @retoor
    The Ballmer Peak is a concept where individuals are believed to reach peak cognitive performance after consuming a certain amount of alcohol. The actual amount can vary for each person, but it is commonly believed to be around 0.129% BAC (Blood Alcohol Content), which is roughly equivalent to one or two drinks for many people. However, it's important to remember that alcohol affects everyone differently and reaching the Ballmer Peak may not be the same for everyone. It's always important to drink responsibly and know your limits.

    oh that's interesting... so I've been hitting that often naturally

    anyway I just ate bread and before I thought the beer gave me spleen inflammation but no it was my attempt at eating bread. my brain is also good enough now that I thought the bread didn't effect me yesterday and my fogginess of thinking was just the alcohol lol, but no it was the bread...

    amount of alcohol's effects on your body would vary depending on your tolerance

    if you drink after not having drank your liver has to reclassify itself for processing alcohol, which means you're slow at processing alcohol

    if you drink often your liver will be very good at processing alcohol on the other hand

    so the range will vary 2-3x, at least according to my intuition of when I drink when I haven't drank all year vs if I've been drinking a week and now the alcohol is like water

    @jestdotty Since I quited for almost two years (what means two, max four per week) I have the feeling one or two is enough, I'm just full. More than that is just uncomfortable. A full time drinker just doesn't feel bad and is past that.
