Single page apps? Why are there not more complaints?

Why are there so many ways to "build" these apps? Where are the standards?

Also, what do you prefer, framework wise? Please don't say Ember.

    Used Backbone he first time, no solely Angular.

    Angular seems to be the best option to cover all of you SPA bases. It has the most built in components that you will likely need plus important extensions like routing. If you follow the Angular design methodology, that is a good way to stick to a set of standards. For most other frameworks you're going to need to either cobble them together or write some of the base components yourself.

    I've had the least amount of headache with Vuejs. I switched to it from Angular. Similar yet not.

    I use React for mine. It's my favourite by far.

    Angular 2 looks like Satan incarnate.

    Been trying out Angular 2 today. I like it so far, it's pretty great after you get the hang of it.

    React it great, choosing and learning a flux/redux/relay/whatever implementation to go along with it is the annoying part.
