- Lead: we need an iteration of 3 weeks to stabilize our code (bugs, code quality, ...)
- Manager: ok go ahead
- Lead: cool thank

3 weeks later one day before the end of the iteration :
- Manager: are you ready for the demo ?
- Lead: ...
- Manager: I invited the boss and the clients
- Lead: ...

We are discussing what to show them.

This is very interesting. So in three weeks not a single communication between the lead and the manager. It is very rare for managers to stay completely out of the way for that long. After the demo is over, a communication protocol would be handy. Good luck.

I don't think bug and code qaulity have anything to do with demo.
All you have to do is to show a certain workflow which you find work the best.
Most demo in found raise events just UI mockups🤔
