When you're newly assigned to one of the most FUCKED UP team in the department and your manager said that ALL LEAVE REQUESTS from your team are AUTOMATIC DISAPPROVED for March until i see significant progress, hayyyy...poker face. I really don't know what to feel right know.

You should feel the urge to update the old resume and take a few interviews for a different job ASAP.

You should feel the urge to run!

@leanrob my friend actually saying the same thing given the fact we have very few leave credits - like 6 per year(SL and VL combined if you're new which is i am) - and no health card.

@yourStalker Yeah, bosses like that create bad situation for themselves. They drive away good developer.

In this sellers market there is always work for a good dev!

Leave, now. Let the economics do its job. If this company doesn't give you what you want, other company will.

Leave is cancelled for one month because of poor performance? Sounds like you need to perform better?

Then if your work isn't enough to get your leave approved and the group is holding you back, speak to your line manager.

If you don't get a reasonable response then update your resume quick.

yourStalker's new to that team. It's not fair to judge yS for the non-progress of that team at all. Also, auto-cancelling leave days, isn't that illegal??

@xewl auto cancelling leave /requests/ is not illegal as long as the leave days still get accrued.

And it's totally understandable to block a whole team from leave if deadlines are looming, even the guy who joins that day.

If, long term, you are being penalised for your team's poor performance regardless of your own outstanding contributions, and once you raise this with management you get no reasonable response, you should leave.
