So I built one of them Auto GPTs using Open Assistant and Python.
Essentially I have two chat rooms with each representing a different agent and some python written to facilitate the api communication and share messages between those two. Each agent is primed with a simple personality description, expected output format and a goal. I used almost identical inputs for both.
It boils down to "You are an expert AI system called Bot1 created to build a simple RPG videogame in python using pygame."
So anyway, I made that, and let it run for a couple of iterations and the results are just stunning, but not for the reasons you might expect. The short story is that they both turned into project managers discussing everything and anything *except* the actual game or game ideas and in the end they didn't produce a single line of code, but they did manage to make sure the project is agile and has enough documentation xD.
Presumably I need to tinker around with their personalities more and specify more well defined goals for this to lead to anything even remotely useful, but that's besides the point. I just thought others might find the actual conversation as funny as I did and wanted to share the output.

Dear software developers, I realise, as a dev myself, the need for auto updates for security and stability, but, outside of only a few niche circumstances, are they really necessary on a fucking *daily* or even *hourly* basis? Congratulations for fixing that minor specific non-crucial bug that 99% of users have never encountered, and I'm happy you're maintaining your code so diligently, but couldn't it wait until next Sunday? By that time I'm sure you could combine the update with all the other minor fixes you'll come up with the interim.

CSS quick maffs
You need to make a responsive grid that should wrap its columns on smaller screens. That's whay you do:

Replace 15rem with minimal width of a grid cell. Putting 0 there is bad because columns won't wrap then.
Now, let's make our task harder. We want the same grid, but we want say 4 columns max. That's what we should do:

It honestly fucking seems like I am the only one that never could get google keyboard to have better auto-correct and also automatically add words I constantly fix after it corrects them - to some sort of dictionary, even with all relevant settings activated.
It's really frustrating when people praise it's auto-correct and learning functions, when I just can't get it to work on any of my devices.6 -

I will never complain about Windows forcing updates onto users. Ubuntu seems to do that also by default (19.10 or 20.04 not sure rn).

So work this morning has been fun, we got an email from some about a change in their company and they CCd about 360 people in so you could see the emails (GDPR and all that) and then a help desk on one of the recipients picked it up, sent out an auto response to everyone, then another auto response from someone else went out and you can see where it went from there... About 100 emails later they sent out an email asking people to not reply to the previous email and are working with the companies to get the auto responders turned off

Fuck Apple’s auto renewal garbage. Purchased an app a year ago that I haven’t used in months, auto renewal was enabled by default and I got charged with no warning or notification. So fucking scammy and pathetic. Every subscription service I’ve used in the past would at least warn me ahead of time when my subscription was about to expire and that I would be charged, even when I’ve explicitly enabled auto-renewal. Why is auto renewal forced now on subscription services now? I don't want to have to cancel my service by jumping through hoops and explaining why I want to cancel it before finally cancelling it. I've had to help my parents unsubscribe from a few services because it was too confusing for them to do themselves and they've just let them suck from their wallets for half a year.
I am even angrier at long "free trials" that you are REQUIRED to enter payment information for so that they can charge you once it's over if you don't remember to cancel it after a month and a half. Can't we just go back to auto renewal being an option, please?2 -

Any Spacemacs users here? I'm debating a switcheroo from sublime. I know my way around vim, so general usage shouldn't be a problem.
I'm more interested in the long term use. I guess since its just some kind of emacs layer, it should be pretty fucking stable for the foreseeable future, but how is the plugin support?
I'm currently doing React at work, and a couple of other Node side projects. Syntax highlight should be sorted out for me. I would like to tailor it somewhat for productivity, like a good file explorer, integrated terminal and other auto tidbits like auto brackets, auto close tags and whatever else. Any good tips on plugins for me?

My MacbookPro won't shutdown fully. Also while on sleep mode, my apps automatically gets closed for auto shutdown (which will be prevented by iTerm's dialogue box for session saving).

Allright, to settle a debate what is the more incorrect way of getting the last elememt of a std::vector?
Is it this:
auto i = myVec.at(myVec.begin() + myVec.size() - 1);
or:
auto i = *(&myVec.at(0) + (myVec.size() - 1));
I think the second method is better(worse) because it has more brackets and only works on Implementations where the vector's data is laid out concurrently (that is in the c++11 spec, but I've seen some shit)
My friend argues for the first method because it takes more time. (If IO is not a bottleneck)1 -
