Oh boy. Here comes another one.... We should start making bets on how long it will last.

U have 2 give these tech giants credit for trying. I heard that Amazon is planning on making a YouTube competitor.

@DivSyntax Didn't Facebook try that already?

On a cloud conference they spent like 10 minutes on the quick access suggestion feature in Google drive. It's laughable and doesn't actually work most of the time. They spent 20 on hangouts chat... Guess where this is going.

@DivSyntax the joke is google has tried and failed so many times, and it doesn't seem to want to stick to one platform. Instead of focusing on one service and making it good, they keep making new products that have missing features.

@NULLmaster I wish they could work something out to make Allo and iMessage compatible.

Yes, I'm 100% aware it'll never happen. But one can hope, right?

@jhh2450 Facebook does not pay people to run adds on their videos, thus I don't think many people want to create quality videos for Facebook.

On the other hand, most creators already use twitch (not just gamers), and the "twitch prime" initiative (Amazon's first big change when it bought out twitch) was extremely well liked by creators. Amazon has shown it is will pay creators for their work, so I won't be surprised if people are willing to try a new platform.

@jhh2450 yea I'm hoping for imessage compatibility with Android as well :/. I hate Facebook messenger and don't really want to try what's app, so sms is the only cross platform option, and that is getting old.

@NULLmaster Ah well I can't seem to find what I was initially referring to.

I thought there was a project titled Voyager that was supposedly going to challenge YouTube.

Either way, you're correct in saying nobody wants to create content for Facebook Watch lol.
