Like no shit it's not a great source for a scholarly essay, but shit neither is PBS. But you don't see teachers shitting all over PBS. 🤷🤦

But after hearing people bash Wiki for the last five years acting like everything on that entire website is total bullshit annoys me. Our educators preach it being unreliable when it's probably just as reliable as they are, if not even more reliable in some cases.

@jhh2450 the problem comes when you have to cite. You can't cite wikipedia, because it's not the source. So just klick on the references and cite those.

@steipilz but one can cite an printed encyclopedia although they have/had so many mistakes in them where errors on wikipedia will be fixed within a day for a lot of pages.
