Does anyone know if there a way to use 'wifi calling' on your computer, not just on phones?

I would love to use a raspberry pi zero w with wifi calling, so i get away from normal mobiles

Mobile phones are usually separated to two systems. Other one being the “user level” system, the main system if you will, and other being always proprietary and responsible for the radio communication, SIM authentication, etc, only providing simple serial interface for command and control & data sharing.

I tried hacking it with a Nexus a bit but since can't find the exact source code, it's really really hard. Instead, tried to forward or intercept internet communication on kernel level because it was decent for my use case, but that's where I left it.

Has some one called a mobile engineer ???
You can develop a desktop app which will use your mobile phones vowifi feature by routing the calls via mobile vowifi

I call it VoIP

@joas it's not VoIP it's vowifi , you need to check 3gpp release 14 specs. But a app like that will be awesome
