I want to get back into academia. I think with over ten years in industry, I'd be a way better professor when it comes to practical computer science.

Also, we don't really get to use computer science in our industry; except for making things scale .. or the occasional company hack-a-thon where you discover machine learning libraries don't really work for everyday tasks (like trying to automatically rank the quality of photos .. yea it turns out you can't train a computer to art no matter how big your data set or how many different libraries you try)
