Non dev related but: release my first track 😊

I'd love to create something which is near musical perfection for myself 😃

There's a couple of tracks which come close for me but not 99 percent yet.

Especially the combination of kicks has to be perfect. I know quite some tracks which have one or more kicks in them which give me a freaking eargasm but nearly always it's just not enough for me 😅

What do you mean by kicks? Like the kick drum?

Ableton, logic, lmms, bitwig, Cubase are some of them :)

How are you making your kicks?

@rjedlin Made one or two samples using multiple plugins through LMMS but that's about it haha

@rjedlin Especially want to be able to make 'sharp'/'distorted' kicks like the ones Malice and Rooler make :)

Hey, I’m new here... just checking out the app and saw this post. I’ve been working on electronic music for quite some time before things have finally started to click (like 5 years), so don’t get discouraged. Like anything else there’s a learning curve to it, and unfortunately producing music has a steep one. You could always just download one of Novation’s mobile iOS apps to get started, I recommend Launchpad. @icadi Holy shit! What kinda raw are you working on? I'm personally a huge gearbox digital 'underground' fan. Think malice/rooler/luminite :D

@linuxxx the "I want to destroy everything in my path" kind of raw. Dark atmosphere and really loud. I also really like Malice, Rooler etc.

@linuxxx Definitely! Warface, Neroz, Imperatorz etc. Been also listening to a lot of Spoontech lately.

I dont know any plugins for Lmms, but I usually make a bass line with a vst, and use a punch/tok I've made. Glue those together and fuck around until it sounds kickass.

@linuxxx have you been to many of the Dutch festivals?

@mrgadget Hardcore XL twice (back when I still enjoyed hardcore), Kings of Hardstyle three times, Dreamfields once, mysteryland once, beat the bridge 4th time next week!
