@ladiesman the ram is used, not free. The tabs are in a firefox, and the tag "ml" is a weird abbreviation for "Mozilla".

For those asking what I'm doing, I'm training and object detection model which (hopefully) will be able to train an image classifier directly on an Android device.

you've still got plenty left! I've already had to force-reboot my machine bcz OOMK was unable to recover quite a few times (32G as well). 4 IntelliJ windows, KVM for Oracle DB, 3 heavy java apps meant to be running on separate servers, chrome w/ 100+ tabs, FF (which to my surprise is no less hungry for RAM than chrome!!!),... and pooft - 32G of RAM is gone!

@daintycode It's a bit wierd that you jumped to that conclusion so fast, but I'm pretty sure ml was referring to machine learning;)
