I try to stay away from interacting in projects I use. I am always disappointed by the politics people engage in these projects. Putting stupid political shit in devlogs.

Some projects even do political assassinations. The fact that the community would turn on, and ostracize people in general makes me not want to take part. I don't care if I even agree with not liking the person. This isn't how a community writing software should behave.

@Demolishun don't you watch Lunduke? Linus first had to drop Russian devs due sanctions but later was less nice to them and took some things personally.

urgh libraries talking about Ukraine at the start of their README made me sick to my stomach. I was born in Ukraine and it was perfectly predictable that it was gonna be a slaughter. these people instigated the murder of all the men in a country. gross. made my stomach churn using that library. hatred, honestly. like what the fuck. just gross. lying to a country and violating so many people but then you wanna pretend random people support this shit. I just want the stupid library. I just wanna do my work. not be assaulted by disgusting "ideals" that nobody is allowed to even disagree with. subjugation and liars
