@retoor Well, the language is Dutch but from Belgium. A lot of people here speak in a dialect that the LLM struggles with.
Except for the Antwerp dialect, that one gets handled surprisingly well. I guess the Dutch accent is a bit better? They are checking different modals cuz the prices remain too high to make commercial sense.
Also, GDPR is not accounted for so far. -

@wojtek322 that's a tricky one, we have some NLP language stuff that is shit and nobody uses but the higher ups can say they're doing GenAI (we're not). There's a neural network model that is totally broken and doesn't explain itself but it's better than the thing we had before. But there's a core of clever people working on their thing that kinda works (but only kinda).
You could fire half the company and it'd be just as successful. -

My workplace remains so retarded.
Half our colleagues are from abroad and do not speak our native language. All our customers are from our country and we are trying to implement transcription and summaries for them. The big AI models struggles with our language.
The devs who are assigned to this project do not speak our language. So they cannot verify if the results are correct.
My project manager fails to see a problem for this :D
