Today, I reached a new level of laziness.

I lied down to watch a movie and I was too lazy to copy the movie from my external hard drive which was in the other side of the bed.

What did I do? I've downloaded the movie once again and watched.

I have a samba server on a pi for exactly that reason

I made an auto-download+streaming server the other week.

Transmission-daemon+sonarr+plex = inhouse streaming site.
Once an episode is put on the rss of one of the feeds sonarr follows it'll automatically download via transmission them update it for plex.

It was a rather fun project. it also only runs when the vpn is active. 😊

If speed of copying is same as downloading then i prefer downloading files again.
