@billgates there will be free swag, and probably just as fast to just walk, sadly :) I think entry pass is like $20.

@dfox mind finding out when you get there? on the site it says free but registration is now close.

Should've told us like a week earlier. I was thinking I could drop by for a few hours maybe but not of it costs $20.

Just got back home, feel a bit guilty. Got some free swag from @dfox n @trogus but then went n spends $30 buying food on the way back.

@dfox np, so here's all the swag I picked up, and the Google shirt I was wearing.

And lots of stuff on their table... Even had an avatar printer... No ++ required so I got the White Tiger!

Thought I took more pics but apparently only took 3 total at the booth...

Oh yea, so this was me in the "fast pass" line. I was first waiting in the long general admissions line then showed the ticket @dfox sent to a security guy walking by and he let me into the Investors/Press line.

I then became the only guy wearing a T-shirt

@Floydian yea it's been years since I've been to a tech expo. Last expo I went to was a Travel one... Just ended up with lots of brochures.

Also just noticed this one. I guess someone in TomTom is on devRant or know @theNSA

@Floydian theres was a in home robot but i dunno the details. There were a lot of ML/analytics stuff like for businesses, recruiting firms similar to Triplebyte, some mobile payments and shopping, some medical data systems.

nut nothing like the Mobile World Conference or E3. Mostly startups.

@dfox i was wondering were there a lot of devs there? it sorta felt to me most exhibits seemed to be targeting businesses, managers, or consumers, students, investors.

@Floydian well this is New York City, there's some social event every day.

Actually I just happened to be in the city this morning for a doctor's appointment so just took the rest of the day off.
