"We don't have time for writing tests"
"Yeah we could write them but only if the client paid us for that"
"You can just test new features manually!"

- Most devs of our mobile team.

Every day they're fighting with bugs and when they're fixed, a couple more pop out of nowhere.

Dear god help me.

    @shasha
    What's your position?

    It would make much more sense if I was the only senior and the devs that don't understand the benefits of testing were juniors. Unfortunately, I'm the junior and the other guys are the seniors.

    So in other words, I'm fucked.

    I used to think like them but I saw the light when everything kept breaking...but I guess I only have a couple of years experience, if these guys have been in the game long term probably unlikely to change their stance

    I'm a bit in the middle I guess. I don't test everything religiously, but always do the base unit tests. It also depends on scale. Small projects I may just go fuck it and dont write any tests. :3

    But I will get there! :D
