I'm having a Linux crisis... Do I reinstall arch linux and fix some of the mistakes I made... Or do I go back to the warm comforting boosum that is Ubuntu...

@teganburns I already love it but I do miss debian based stuff sometimes... If only there was a middle point.

@lxmcf what do you miss in Debian btw? I do miss apt install sometimes but pacman is cooler I think (only been using arch for a week though )

I do love arch though. Not much of a fan of Pacman though

I have used Arch for around five years and was very pleased with it. Then I have got a corporate laptop on which I installed Fedora. But I was also very pleased, but the upgrade to Fedora 28 didn't work. So I installed Ubuntu 18.04 minimal (no unnecessary apps), because it it support for 5 years and I need my laptop to just work without fiddling with the os. I love the ability to install snaps to get the newest version of most of the apps I need. I also installed i3. Overall I am very happy with it. On my personal Laptop I run Arch because I love to thinker with stuff, but for work everything musst work and should be reinstalled and setuped in about an hour, when something goes wrong.

@finiteAutomaton aside from the horribly buggy installer, I like it.

@AlpineLinnix it's more the command structure of Pacman, can't remember the correct commands like I can with apt, it's simpler imo

@lxmcf theres also yaourt, which makes it even easier and more graphical than even apt does, you should definitely check out antergos, atleast in a vm, it's much more a stable release than arch, less of the "bleeding" in "bleeding edge" so to say
