kimailis5207y@dontbeevil yeah but they are still a company that wants to profit and cover costs, same as apple. and if i am not wrong they take less % of the revenue and they cost less to publish, so they are the good guys

Reminds me of recruiters taking up to 30% of your wage. It's not like they have to do the same amount of work that amounts to 30% of yours.

potata14807y@dontbeevil It's not all about the taxes. It's about the process required to publish an app.
Our experience:
Google: Make an app in mac/windows/linux - publish ir for a fee (was around $29) and you are good to sell. Of course, they take around 23% (or atleast somewhere close that that time)
Apple: so, you take an mac, new apple ID account that was never used in store and has no ofences, then you develop your app in XYZ (mostly xcode or some shit), create developer account for 100$ and upload your app. If your app will require any kind of login - it will be rejected. Our users must use your app without login.
And our story went for more than half a year trying to pusblish an apple app to the store with a cost of about 4000$ (mac, fees, development time, fixes to their policy) while google accepted it right away and was good with it :) -
@dontbeevil I thought you liked Google and apple haha, well, guess we agree on something after all!
