sooooo with "gone" you mean you weren't smart enough to have a backup, thus declaring the original data as "not important anyway"?

@tosensei Yes, I was stupid enough to delete the originals before I copied the data over from this microsd to my other computer. Thankfully, I was able to recover everything important using iCloud’s deeply buried recovery settings. I was smart enough to use iCloud for those important files just in case

Remembers me, i have to duplicate my backup drive. My backup backup broke.

Even while having such system, most important files i still did lose. Ugh.

Also, I had many files not important for me at the time but became important later.
