I received the same update yesterday on the same phone, but no issues.

It's an awesome phone with frequent updates. In the few months I've owned it, it's gotten about 6 updates already? I just hope to receive Android 8.1 (API 27) this month ,because I recently started migrating all my apps to target that platform.

Technically "new bugs added" isn't related to "fresher and safer", so I'll say it's pretty accurate

I think thats because popups are usually forbidden on the lockscreen, thus creating a deadlock due to undefined touch priorities.
