how about the good old windows notepad

i do it as a hobby but i am a programmer by heart. this attitude hurts. i have to use light theme not to get sleepy too early in my limited programming time on friday nights. night mode did not improve anything for me personally 😅😁

When using a light theme your IDE will definitely be brighter than your future. D:

I use VSCode with a light theme during the day. Less visible reflections on the screen 🤷‍♂️

Back when sass was new, you could download a theme for Notepad++ (computers were slower in those days) which enabled proper syntax highlighting for scss. It only worked with their default (light) theme, unreadable on anything else. It was too useful not to include at the time, so I just stuck to the defaults and got used to it. Years later, light seems more readable to me. Not sure what all the fuss is about.

I like light theme. Light theme while outside or light background is nice.

@erroronline1 disabling blue light filter should do it, I use Dracula theme in IntelliJ IDEA and I won't get sleepy unless I enable blue light filter

I use light theme because I like it and I think it's poor that popular IDEs like Pycharm have more support of dark theme than that of a light one imho
