Can anyone in the Webapp industry tell me why Progressive Web Apps is not creating enough buzz right now ? I have read some posts regarding the problems of PWAs.

But apart from that is it really difficult to create a PWA instead of a native one ?

    As far as Ive heard you cant create anything complex with PWA

    I don't know either. It can be that not everyone knows how to make them. Some frameworks/boilerplate have PWA support enabled by default, tho, like create-react-app, so people might be making them even if they don't know about it.

    @zemaitis you have access to everything the browser does, which includes:

    - Camera;
    - GPS location;
    - Notifications;
    - Vibration.

    There are still a lot of things that the browser can't do, but I've seen a lot of new web apis appearing this last few years, so a web app will soon be able to do as much as a native app.

    Afaik, the main thing holding pwas back is lack of support on iOS.
