Minecraft Launcher has been on Linux for a decade, and the Arch package is probably being maintained by Arch people, like dist specific stuff should be?

Minecraft launcher was written in Java, and therefore was mostly cross platform. I used to play it on linux a looong time ago. So nothing new, they may have made a native one, that's all.

I will be impressed when the twitch launcher that installs modpacks runs on linux.
