And there are so many kinds of sites... There actually a few that you must pay to see if someone like you, they offer a very limited freemium service and almost no ones pay or even use such services, but there are a few people that can pay up to 100€ or 200€ (around the same in dollars) In this sites, and there is where the companies get their money.

Btw... 90% of dating sites are owned by two or three companies... That's why they look so alike.
