WHAT THE FUCK? IS THIS REAL?

I got a call from a managment institute asking me if I have any MBA plans after graduation.

I said no and asked the person where did he get my number.

He said: Google

Like how? How does this even work? HOW?

Did you try googling your phone number?

I had a similar experience with linkedin. A recruiter said he got my number from there. I do have an account, but never added personal info like my phone number.
Then again the company certsinly knows my number, since I have the app installed on my phone. Fucking creeps.

Does your college have fests ? 🙂
Or events that had sponsors ?

I don't know where you're from, but at least in Sweden, if you know someone's name, there are websites where you can find their number and/or address (unless their number is private or their address is secret, like when people are under witness protection and so on), so if there's anything like that getting your name from something like linkedin wouldn't make it too hard. It sounds sketchy as fuck, but it's like an online phone book.

Replacing 3's with 1's might or might not work because you could still end up with genuine but non-related numbers.

Try replacing 0's (zeroes) with O's next time. This will fuck them up.

@Cyanide replacing 0 with O wdnt work because it's kinda easy to detect. If they find out. It wd get me in trouble,lead to cancellation of deal and spoil relations. And the worst part. They replaced all the O's with 0 and have the perfect db. 😅
Anyways I stay miles away from such work now. Done enough
