Don't be surprised, people. All company HRs want when they come to colleges is to feel like "DA BOSS" and have their egos satisfied. Working in the placement cell has opened my eyes that colleges worship recruiters (which needn't be done; have some balls, college) and students are caught in the crossfire.

Never expected to get a job from those company placement at uni as I knew no good will come out from it. 95% reprsentatives had no idea how did technology worked and just throwing out buzz words and bullshit.
Just started talking to one representative from a company, purposely told him I am java dev and he goes on saying then you should be an expert in javascript as well.
They had no idea how different was java and javascript. -

When you have a super annoying problem that Google has been unable to help with... But you stumble upon a link...
A company gave a placement talk in college today.
First, they talked about their company's facts and figures, which no one was interested in.
Second, they talked about Amazon and Jeff's vision, AirBnB and their revolutionary idea, more than their own company and products.
Third, they showed some testimonial videos of their employees and customers.
"What the fuck is going on?" I thought. We were there to get information about a placement test.
Buzzwords started coming in. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and what not.
Last 15 minutes, a guy came. He talked about test date, test format and test topics, finally.
An hour and half wasted for 15 minutes of information.
Fuck placement talks.
