I wonder the same thing every time. Also, think about all the offices... all the people... what are they all doing? If I visit an office building of a company that has more than 500 engineers, randomly go to a guy's desk and ask what is he doing right now, chances are what he does is useless, if he can tell what he's doing at all. Most of them will just be like "uhhhh I'm not sure"

all of that is just a facade. all those frameworks, all those useless jobs... we just need to keep the economy going, that's all. people have to spend money, thus they need the money to spend. if we introduce universal basic income, companies will find a way to overturn/circumvent that. So, we need to make it less obvious.

Tbh I've become so disillusioned that I'd gladly take one of those pretend jobs where just show up, drink the coffee and leave

@TheBeardedOne my uncle works in a coffee lyophilisation plants. They are hiring coffee taster but it's not as glamourous as it seems.
