@thatsnotnice german is an aggressive language imo so... 😂

@Navigatr I should win a competition with that, just because of the struggle I had with this 😂

@ng1905 You sure should, the artist's life is a rough one, no one could argue that. :P

Looks like you got some faulty RAM there.
  • 1
@CurtisMJ I have similar crashes, but my Linux install never has problems, making me doubt that it's a RAM problem and not an obscure Windows problem. Maybe Windows just dislikes the RAM?

@CurtisMJ totally correct, these screenshots were taken when my 8GB RAM stick failed 😂

@powerfulparadox well I thought of that too. The problems started when https://devrant.com/rants/1055833/... happened, but I already suspected the ram to be faulty, so I ran a memtest and.... Well let's not talk about that 😂
  • 1
@powerfulparadox to be fair though, the bluescreens already happened *before* I installed the RAM stick that failed four months later....

@ng1905 Windows can be weird. I just haven't been brave enough to test my RAM yet, especially since the crashes are rare and I can always use Linux if I need stability.

Tldr; never buying cheap ram again (I got this from a local store)... Now I only have Kingston sticks installed, two of them are running perfectly for two years now.
  • 1
@powerfulparadox I was sure that the ram is defective when even the installation of my favorite Linux distro failed spectacularly
  • 1
@ng1905 Some things are never worth buying cheap versions. Flash memory and Bluetooth headphones are ones I've learned personally, and I have attempted to avoid that mistake with my own RAM.
  • 1
@ng1905 That would certainly be convincing 😥

The last 2 times i saw BSOD was once faulty ram and once faulty hdd
  • 1
Are that your bsods or do you collected every bsod-post of the community? ^^

Memory management happened yesterday. Now the computer is unable to boot due to a "Unmountable boot volume" and TestDisk deems my HDD dead. Fuck windows.

    @Kinky-Code only mine unfortunately :(
