I didn't do a lot of research, I just saw the DDG extension tell me that devrant isn't that great. and I don't want devrant not to be that great

Please note : As far as I know, there is NO tracking while you are browsing rants in both the app and the app

The google analytics ddg is detecting is only present in devrant.com/ not devrant.com/*

Sorry, but without more info, I don’t really know what that’s even saying.

Our SSL setup gets very high ratings and that’s what I’m concerned about. If you want to browse the website “without being tracked” then just block the external services you’re personally concerned about.

It makes no sense to want to rid yourself of Google Analytics but require every website to do that for you. If you don’t like a service like that, be proactive and block it yourself.
