Hey guys, do you know of a good way to share and exchange high-res videos with people who are not so savvy with computers?
I can only think of dropbox, but the space is limited and I was told it is not ideal for such huge files as videos...

It's not specialised for HD video (any more than Dropbox anyway), but how about Google Drive? When people play the video, it'll use the YouTube video UI, so should look quite familiar to them or at least be quite easy to use. Also extra space is quite cheap and sharing is really easy

Just YouTube and list it as private?

is it for movie making? check out https://frame.io

Otherwise convert it in a smaller file format or ship it via usb3 thumbdrive.

@iwakirinko That could work quite well, although what happens if they need to send one back? (the 'exchange' point from OP) - that won't be simple for non tech-savvy users?

send18 and mega.nz are two good options

Thanks for all your suggestions :)

To be a bit more specific:
We had a horse riding course and 2-4 people were filming. Now those people need to share their videos with all 8 participants. Most of them just know how to turn their PC on, maybe check their mail an facebook, but that's about it.

I will look into all mentioned websites and see if there is something we can use :-)

@katho2404 bases on thia info, the previously mentioned wetransfer.com is the best choice for it's extremely simple ui and just sends out an email with the download link.

@katho2404 in that case, get them to wetransfer all the files to you, then you upload to YouTube as an unlisted/private video. Job done :)

Just create a private Faecbook group? IIRC they now do HD video.
