There's a lot of Linux users here, but i don't think there's a huge group of Ubuntu fans here.

Ctrl+alt+f1 ,login there, see dmesg and /var/log/syslog for the actual error message. 'login loop issue' is as generic as 'my computer is not working, how do I fix it?'.

Also.. Yeah, ubuntu forum is more suitable than devrant :) here we could help only if your post looked like 'fuck you bubuntoo! Thanks for nothing and that fucking login loop. Kiss my piss buntoo!' - then someone would suggest using arc and eventually some guy or gal will offer their help themselves ;)

Also, include the window manager and desktop manager you're using as well as any recent changes you made to your system...
Your Xorg logs, the logs of your window manager and possibly dmesg may also help a great deal.
