    What's the benefits?

    It allows incompetent managerial staff to seem like they understand what's going on even though they're basically braindead.

    Our project managers do that all the time. But usually for the simple reason that they want to send out a public email with the benefits of the new tool. And who better to explain the benefits than the person who developed them.
