Can you overdose on strong coffee? I feel sort of lightheaded on and off when walking and heart feels like it's beating a lot... after drinking a large cup this afternoon...

Yeah, you can overdose. I'd lie down and wait for half an hour or so.

I haven’t tried.
But I guess coffee does get the heart rate up, so with enough... I guess it would be possible.

Yes, too much coffee , or even a cup of strong coffee can make you feel dizzy, especially when standing up, fast heart rate, all the things. I’ve definitely medicated with Coffee way more than I should — do yourself a favor and take a sick day , coming from someone who wishes I took my own advice more often. You’ll thank yourself tomorrow!

Besides everything that has already been said, too much coffee can also cause caffeine intoxication.
You'll be easily one week out with insane diarrhea.

Coffee is a very high level potion and its magical power can easily destroy the most elite developers.

Here is an experiment where wrong dosages of caffeine were supplied to test subjects. Equivalent of 300 cups in one tablet ;)
