What's the best way to run MS Office from Linux? Cloud based, native with wine/play on linux, or a native suite? I don't want to run a VM just for office.

I've tried Libre Office but it doesn't format well for my college professors, and office online works but it's not as quick plus you need the online connection.

Would something like WPS Office be my best option if I wanted a native solution that looked and felt like office with the best level of compatibility?

@Gentoo Office online has been my fallback solution. I prefer native if it's possible but that may be a tall order.

I'd give it a shot under wine or I'll just throw this out for shits and giggles, why not try Google docs?

I would suggest zoho or google cloud, google has an offline version with a chrome extension

I've ran the entire ms office suit successfully on my mom's old laptop with debian. (512mb ram)

@killermenpl Manjaro Linux has that built in. It's fantastic and has been my primary way of using Office. I may be unable to have my cake and eat it for a native solution beyond office 2010 on wine.
