Note to self: never EVER buy iPhone again. “It won’t stutter after a year”, they’ve said.
Right now my 6s is just one big overheating piece of mess. Right now I have to charge it 3 times a day. Resprings randomly. Very often discharges 2% per minute. All the time lacks memory. iCloud picture syncing SUCKS. The Lightning cable is the worst excuse for buying overpriced cables which will break after a half of year. The only plus is a camera, how easy it is to update the iOS, included earbuds, iMesssage (but I use WhatsApp nonetheless) and battery widget.

And that’s it.

If someone says ever again that “iOS is the best operating system, it doesn’t have any issues whatsoever”, I would say “stop doping”, because I don’t see why it’s so great. Just while typing this rant my battery decreased from 25% to 15%

    Ive had my iPhone 6S for nearly 4 years now and it still works perfectly

    I had LG G2(Android) for 5 and a half years and it served me perfectly. Battery was weakened in last two years but still managed to get one day of use. I upgraded to V30 and still use G2 for casual surfing. I'm actually amazed this buddy is still kicking.

    Replace your battery. Thanks to the slowdown fiasco earlier this year Apple is offering battery replacements for like $30. Well worth it for an aging iPhone 6 such as mine.

    You may have a dodgy battery. Some 6s models were eligible for a free battery replacement, but you are probably out as it only covered for up to 3 years. I have a 6s and never had any issues. It runs as good as the day i bought it.... and iOS is great.

    @helloworld maybe. I don’t know, I’m getting OnePlus 6 soon nonetheless

    Don’t use fast chargers. They zap your battery lifespan. You definitely don’t want to charge at over 1 Amp. These 2.1 amp charges and such are ridiculously bad for batteries. And yes Apple lighting cables suck but there are plenty of good third party ones.

    Edit just don’t use no name ones from amazon or gas stations

    @jeeper I’m using stock charger

    @athlon you bought it new a year ago?

    @jeeper wait, how bad are they actually?
  • 1
    @PrivateGER terrible. @Condor did the math on them once. Something like a hundred times more juice being pushed in the battery than it was made to handle. It affects the life cycle conversely.

    @jeeper Not 100x, that'd instantly blow up the battery. Most lithium cells can handle a couple of amps. But the more current you jam through her, the shorter its lifespan will be. Also more current means more heat etc. The problem is mostly in controllers though. It's difficult to make a small charge controller that can handle a lot of current nonetheless.

    In this case though, I'd say that it's an Apple feature (: super optimized devices that bend, can't hold a charge, get their performance limited by software updates. And where the users hold their devices wrong if they can't get cell reception.. right? Same thing with the batteries in there :v

    @jeeper Uhh, so my 2.5A cable is a bad idea?

    @PrivateGER depends on if you put 2.5A through to the phone 😂
