I've spent the last 3 days trying to figure out what on earth was going through the head of a (now departed) contractor when he wrote the code I'm trying to fix. Took a reasonably simple part of the system and convoluted it to the point where it makes no sense! And we've realised it's not complete either!! Fun times... they are not. 😕
