Always have a pen and notebook, always. I right down what i am trying to do and the logic, I explore scenarios on paper and then refer to it and don’t lose track even when going for a piss or taking phone calls or switching projects.

@helloworld The best advice. I'm having also a notebook on my desk, always writing stuffs. Even if I would not read them afterwards, writing helps me understand what I should do next.

A colleague of mine is using a pen + touch table (cheap one) -> reason behind: he sends the files to home computer to read them later.
