the "my" in mySQL is just a tribute to the creators daughter, which is named My.

Isn't that the case for MariaDB?

@Linux Had to doublecheck that info from finnish wikipedia and it states that he has 3 children: My, Maria and Max :) Btw, Monty lives in Tuusula which is 10km from my current homecity. Maybe I should pay him a visit and get the facts straight ;)
