Frank Sinatra was one of a kind and his music is a masterpiece.

    I think you are crediting the wrong people, it wasn’t his music he merely sang it.

    Frank Sinatra did not compose music but he did participate in the writing of a couple of songs on which he actually gets a writing credit, like This Love of Mine and I'm a Fool To Want You. ... He also commissioned songwriters and lyricists, like Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen, to write new songs for him.

    Ginger Rogers, fight me.

    @HollowKitty Gold diggers of 1933. Nope I’d rather singing in the rain with Gene Kelly.

    @vane Ginger Rogers was much more rich and famous than her husband and nowadays she's mostly famous for being a better dancer than Fred Astaire but getting less of the credit. You better explain this comment fam.

    @HollowKitty Your assumptions might be true but my comment was also related to dancing. I prefer Gene Kelly dancing style then her dancing. By the way rich and famous does not convince me. That’s only karma and third party legends.

    @vane You called her a gold-digger when she clearly was not, that was my point. And if you're just slinging slurs at her/dismissing her because of "We're in the Money" (which she did not write) then we could easily talk about "I Begged Her"...

    @HollowKitty what’s wrong with that song ?
  • 0
    @vane It's literally a song about sexual harassment. If you're going to judge the songs Ginger sang by modern expectations then you should do the same for Gene and Frank.

    Because he threatened her by saying that he won’t leave this time unless she kiss him ?
    I don’t think so, but maybe I don’t understand this world anymore. I always assumed that people are good and amazing not some crazy sadistic morons.

    @vane Yes, threatening someone for not kissing you is sexual harassment. I'm sorry this is difficult for you to understand, but most human beings have a need to feel safe (it's near the base of Maslow's pyramid and everything), and having someone in your personal space when you don't want them there is typically seen as threatening. Also, the typical man is larger and stronger than the typical woman. Neither of those facts are new, what's new is that we've started to care about women's discomfort as much as men's. Honestly it just sounds like you have a problem with women.

    @HollowKitty So what was his relationship to this woman in your opinion, when he was singing this song? He saw her first time, they hang out each other for a while, they were engaged, they were married, or maybe she was his 4 year daughter and he wanted a chick kiss from her for good night after singing her this song.
    Yeah I have a big problem with woman but You got problem with Frank.

    @vane It literally doesn't matter what your relationship is. If she says she doesn't want to kiss you, don't kiss her and don't make threats related to kissing her. It's that simple. This is not complicated at all, if anything you're trying to make it more complicated than it is.
