Job search isn't easy.

Not because there aren't any jobs, but because I am afraid of anything that seems remotely like my current toxic workplace.

Oh, also I've been getting ghosted left and right. Have not heard back from any other places I've applied to in months.

@NoMad ghosting seems to be very common these days. A few years ago it was very uncommon afaik.

I get “unfortunately” responses from maybe 10% of my applications. Nothing but silence from the rest.
