@Keanu I tried it thrice. got the same error every time. so switched to Linux Mint.
and when installing Mint, I said wipe out the disk and install it. it did not throw any error and installed successfully -
@Keanu I just use Konsole with the background colour set to the one Numix has :3

@inaba I have installed Numix but my Terminal has the normal theme. How can I switch this?

@gsn16 the "C" drive is a windows thing. there is no C drive anymore 😈
