Meanwhile I've used it on a shitty budget phone from like 2014 and it runs like a charm.

What device are you using? Ever think it might be your device and not the apps fault? 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Take a deep breath man.

As others pointed out, maybe the device is the issue? I've never had an issue with Spotify, it's always worked like a charm. Never even crashed, it's probably one of the most stable apps on my phone...

@nanoandrew4 I did have an issue with it removing the downloaded songs about once every other week, but after the second time an update came out and it stopped.

It also used to not show the notification with the option to control it. But again, a quick update solved it. Not to mention, it wasn't an extremely popular flagship phone, so that's probably why the issue existed.

@Stuxnet @nanoandrew4 I used it in Note5, s3, ubuntu laptop and windows desktop, on note 5 there was the internet bug and freezing, on s3 it would have hard time just going to one song from another, on laptop it took 5 minutes to just open up and it would eat ram like a step sibling of chrome. On desktop just today it was unresponsive I would click on a link wait and then click on another link amd it would barely take me to the first link. Maybe my death metal playlists are breaking spotify I don't know

Your downloaded playlist#2? I can play that!
Your downloaded playlist#3? I can play that!
Your downloaded playlist#4? I need an internet connection to play that!
