I'm not sure that it is stopping you from deleting Google cookies, given the way Chrome works I think it is just whatever it stores for the browser login (chrome sync or whatever it is called) that it keeps; that thing auto signs you into Google sites too.

byogdc7246yWhat are the Google cookies that Chrome keeps? Does it keep search history, Google sites history, login credentials to these services? If it keeps login credentials, it makes sense because Chrome is built to operate well with the Google ecosystem, including keeping you logged into all their services. It would actually be annoying if, when you wanted to delete your cookies, that you are signed out of your Google services.

JS96184546y@byogdc Nobody stores login credentials in cookies… they store tokens and sessions to know you already logged in.
But they also store your searches, websites you visited, and as recently discovered also your bookmarks.
Anyway, I have Chrome 69 and I don't see that message.
