A (SaaS) project that requires on demand resources (through Docker/PHP/C), to move data from one system to another through Soap, cXML,, Restful and ftp API's.
All the requests are published through SocketCluster into a RabbitMQ cluster and then executed by workers and the output is logged in Postgresql. Every subsequent event from the workers is re-published into SocketCluster until the end of the event train is reached and the result is fired back up the chain until it reaches the source requested again.

Sounds complicated but really it is more complicated then it sounds.

Our storage appliance vendor's API gives us incomplete/incorrect data about the firmware levels for disk controllers, so I wrote an app that cascades SSH connections to 5000 devices to run the storage info commands, compile them, and load them into a single Redis backend. Now I've been working on a frontend that displays the compiled data in HTML, CSV, and json. It's been really fun!
